Our day-to-day life stays pretty much the same but is adjusted for weather and holidays. We’re outside as much as possible when the weather permits it, hiking, working in the garden, picking fleece, caring for animals and the land, and we turn indoors a little more in the colder months, making art, binding books, making candles, woodworking, and weaving.
Our annual Harvest Gathering will be October 21, 2017 from 12:00 to 3:00pm. We will say goodbye to David and Heidi with some special music and other activities, and share a bountiful meal prepared right here from our gardens and kitchens. If you’d like to attend, please call before October 10 so we can be sure to have a chair and enough food for you.
Winter Break will be December 20, 2017 to January 4, 2018 to allow our residents and staff to spend the holidays with their families.
The best times to visit are Wednesday or Thursday mornings, and visitors are welcome, but please call ahead to let us know you’re coming!
