Resident Admissions

Although we hope, in the future, to accept more adults with developmental challenges, between the ages of 18 and 30, who would benefit from and contribute to our community life, we are experiencing a severe staffing shortage and, until this resolves, we cannot accept  applications for new residents. Our residents are usually here for a lifetime, and, as many have been here since we started in 1981,  openings are infrequent even in the best of times.

If you would be interested in living and working with us, room/board/utilities/lots of time off/health/dental/retirement are provided, with private living accommodations and lots of great benefits, please contact us. We are looking for a few good people in order to assist more people. Please contact Kristen Stanton at lukas@lukascommunity.org to set up a conversation.
